Non Dual Ditties ~ from the landing and ‘nover the rainbow’!
For a while I’ve been writing from friends’ upstairs landing (usually when I cat-sit). Landings… those funny non-spaces of spaces which aren’t a destination, lack a specific purpose and yet are essential for rooms to ‘room’. The landing presents an imperfect but apposite metaphor for life - timelessly and ‘space-lessly’ being what it is (and isn’t).
Welcome.
All there is, is what is. THIS is ‘it’ - a bottomless landing, going nowhere, being no thing. Paradoxically, inevitably and wonder-fully ‘being at home’ is inevitable since there’s no other ‘place’ to be. ‘You’ don’t come into it since there is no ‘it’ and yet it is what you are (and aren’t!) There’s literally no ‘where’ to fall, no ‘how’ to fall, no need or possibility of ‘knowing how’. You’re already and forever falling and landing… PERFECTLY.
This is far too simple for words, too close than can be imagined and of no use to get ‘you’ anywhere...
